About Radix

Radix is a free resource for exploring Latin — built around the idea that classical roots are still alive in the language all around us, especially in medicine and the sciences.

What this is: a place to explore root words, practice vocabulary, and brush up on grammar mechanics, for the sake of understanding Latin a little better.

What this isn't: an exam-prep tool. You won't find translations of assigned texts or answer banks here — just the roots, vocabulary, and grammar to work things out yourself.

Radix is built and maintained by a Latin student who also teaches — more about that soon.
